E carrega toda a carga simbólica do "estar aqui". The New Topographies of hell: From Dante to Blade Runner This thesis seeks to show that hell, contrary to popular belief, not disappeared; he is still represented by writers, film directors, comic book designers and game designers. Their representation has changed. Hell is no longer a place where you're going and went on to be the one where you are. He is no longer "there". Is here! And it carries the whole symbolic charge of "being here". Thus, it is not a constant fire that feeds but the disasters of the modern world. genetic disorder, pollution, dirt and darkness, are part of the allegory of today's hell. To demonstrate how the hell has been rebuilt by new actors and authors, was used Blade Runner a Ridley Scott film, 1982. In this work, he tried to demonstrate that today's performers did not abandon the notion of hell, but the updated and brought it to our days, including in a realistic hell, counter position to that existing as feared possibility in the afterlife. Sought to demonstrate through the representations in art, film and literature, from the Inferno of Dante Alighieri to the Blade Runner by Ridley Scott, that we already live in hell, he is more terrible than that imagined by Dante and the tortures Dantesque now have meanings in contemporary reality Mestrado Multimeios Mestre em Multimeios
