Resumen
A fluid model allowing for plasma resistivity and anisotropic temperatures, for describing edge-layer and jets in field-reversed configurations, is presented. Jet velocity can be predicted in terms of drops in parallel and perpendicular temperatures, from the separatrix to the throat, and the edge-layer broadness should depend on plasma conductivity. Comparison with experimental measurements suggests that the conductivity should be an order of magnitude lower than classical. 63 8 3003 3007
