Resumen
Gamma radiation was used to immobilize poly(methyloctylsiloxane) (PMOS) onto the surface of silica particles titanized by reaction with titanium tetrabutoxide. The irradiated particles were extracted with CH2Cl2 and subsequently packed into HPLC columns for testing. The PMOS- based stationary phases were tested chromatographically after each of a series of washings with pH 7 and pH 12 MeOH:NaOH(aq) 70:30 (v/v) mobile phases. Very slight decreases in column efficiency or retention time and no evidence of support dissolution were observed with either mobile phase. 24 1 49 54
