Resumen
Electromagnetic wave propagation in true-dimensional dielectric gratings, consisting of a periodic away of rectangular anisotropic dielectric waveguides, is examined here using an integral equation including the application of the moment method, the volume equivalence theorem, and an adequate electric field expansion inside each rectangular dielectric waveguide. Curves of normalized phase constant as functions of the normalized Floquet's wavenumber are obtained for various waveguide dimensions. Agreement is observed with existing results in the limit of the one-dimensional dielectric grating (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 20 5 329 333
