Chromium and Chromium-0. 2at%Vanadium single crystals were investigated using synchrotron radiation at energies of 5. 8 KeV and 13. 04 KeV. A description of the spin-density-wave (SDW) and charge-density-wave (CDW) peaks and their temperature dependence for Cr-0. 2at%V is presented. A single Q state was observed for all measurements on a (100) surface. Results for pure chromium are compared with those for the alloy. © 1999 Trans Tech Publications,. 302-303
