DgCr22.1b, an endophytic isolate of Talaromyces sp., was collected in the Amazonian Rainforest from the medicinal plant Duguetia stelechantha. From the fractionation of the methanolic mycelial extract, a new xanthone dimer talaroxanthone was isolated.
