Resumen
We have shown how the analysis of the angiotomography reconstruction through OsiriX program has assisted in endovascular perioperative programming. We presented its application in situations when an unexpected existence of metallic overlapping artifact (orthopedic osteosynthesis) compromised the adequate visualization of the arterial lesion during the procedure. Through manipulation upon OsiriX software, with assistance of preview under virtual fluoroscopy, it was possible to obtain the angles that would avoid this juxtaposition. These angles were reproduced in the C-arm, allowing visualization of the occluded segment, reducing the need for repeated image acquisitions and contrast overload, allowing the continuation of the procedure. 29 3 455 458 Brockmann, C., Jochum, S., Sadick, M., Huck, K., Ziegler, P., Fink, C., Dual-energy CT angiography in peripheral arterial occlusive disease (2009) Cardiovasc Intervent Radiol, 32 (4), pp. 630-637 Hiatt, M.D., Fleischmann, D., Hellinger, J.C., Rubin, G.D., Angiographic imaging of the lower extremities with multidetector CT (2005) Radiol Clin North Am, 43 (6), pp. 1119-1127 Kock, M.C., Dijkshoorn, M.L., Pattynama, P.M., Myriam Hunink, M.G., Multi-detector row computed tomography angiography of peripheral arterial disease (2007) Eur Radiol, 17 (12), pp. 3208-3222 Walls, M.C., Thavendiranathan, P., Rajagopalan, S., Advances in CT angiography for peripheral arterial disease (2011) Cardiol Clin, 29 (3), pp. 331-340 Molinari, G.J.D.P., Dalbem, A.M.O., Menezes, F.H., Guillaumon, A.T., Proposal of renal artery’s ostial projection under virtual geometric correction in infrarenal aneurysms: Initial results of a pilot study (2014) Rev Bras Cir Cardiovasc, 29 (1), pp. 78-82 Molinari, G.J.D.P., Dalbem, A.M.O., Guillaumon, A.T., The use of virtual resources for pre operatory study in correction of infrarenal aneurysms: Exploring the OsiriX’s potential (2014) Rev Bras Cir Cardiovasc.
