Resumen
Fusion is currently defined as a developmental anomaly that occurs due to an unionof two or more adjacent teeth during morphodifferentiation of the dental germs. The#present case reports the endodontic treatment of a fused maxillary lateral incisor andsupernumerary tooth. A 12-year-old girl had an excessively large anterior tooth. Theendodontic therapy was carried out, so the patient could receive a surgical therapy toremove the supernumerary tooth and orthodontic treatment to correct the malocclusion.Electronic apex locator, rotary instrumentation and thermo-mechanical obturation wereused under the direct view of a dental operating microscope. © 2011 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
