Resumen
There were evaluated in this work the conditions of hydroalcoholic extraction using maceration with sonication of the furocoumarins, psoraleno and bergapteno present in the rhizomes of Dorstenia brasiliensis Lam. species. The variables of the extractions were optimized obtaining 30 minutes time for the maceration and a proportion of the extractor solvent ethanol: water of 50:50 v/v. The hydroalcoholic extracts were quantified and the selectivity was evaluated in two modes HPLC with ultraviolet detector and HPLC with fluorescence. A small difference was observed between these two modes of detection: (7.8 ± 0.4) mg psoralen g -1 and (1.6 ± 0.1) mg bergapten g -1 for HPLC/fluorescence when compared to (8.8 ± 0.2) mg psoralen g -1 e (1.74 ± 0.03) mg bergapten g -1 for HPLC/UV. The selectivity of the HPLC/UV was the best for the furocoumarins analyses of D. brasiliensis rhizomes in hydroalcoholic extracts. 9 2 61 66 BAUER, L., NOLL, Furanocumarinas de, I.B., Dorstenia Brasiliensis Lam (1986) Caderno de Farmácia, 2, pp. 163-171 CARAUTA, J.P.P.
