Resumen
Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) Fuzzy graphs and fuzzy logic are used to describe the reasoning of verbal understanding of a text played to students of Unicamp. The results demonstrate that each phrase in the text is associated to two different truth values. One of them, here called the confedence degree, measures the truth of the information as related to the individual sets of beliefs; the other, called correlation degree, measures the truth of each phrase as regards the structure of the text itself. Also, empirical relations were established for each of the logical of perators used by the volunteers. © 1987. 23 3 347 360 CAPES; Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior; FAPESP; Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) Freska, Linguistic description of human judgments in expert Systems and in ‘soft’ sciences (1982) General Survey of Systems Methodology, 2, pp. 429-434. , L.
