The tumors of head and neck involve parts of the body that are visible and crucial for the survival. The defect acquired by the oncological treatment, can be restored with reconstructive surgery or maxillofacial prosthetics always depending on the extension of the treatment. A clinical case of a patient of 33 years, female, with diagnosis of epidermoid carcinoma moderately differentiated in inverting papilloma associated to the human papilloma virus (HPV) or Schneiderian carcinoma. It presented a left radical maxillectomy with resection of the nasal septum and exenteration of the left orbit. It was made the prosthetic rehabilitation by means of production and positioning to him of a facial prostheses and a obturator palatine, to cover the defect completely. The use of the prostheses compensates the anatomofunctional and aesthetic losses, generated by the oncological treatment, as well as improvement in the psycho-social state of the patient.Los tumores de cabeza y cuello involucran partes del cuerpo que son visibles y cruciales para la supervivencia. El defecto adquirido por el tratamiento oncológico se puede restaurar con cirugía reconstructiva o prótesis maxilofacial dependiendo siempre de la extensión del tratamiento. Se presenta un caso clínico de un paciente de 33 años, femenino, con diagnóstico de carcinoma epidermoide moderadamente diferenciado en papiloma invertido asociado al virus del papiloma humano (VPH) o carcinoma Schneideriano. Presentaba una maxilectomía radical izquierda con resección del septum nasal y exenteración orbitaria izquierda. Se le realizó la rehabilitación protésica mediante la fabricación y colocación de una prótesis facial y un obturador palatino, para cubrir el defecto completamente. El uso de las prótesis compensarán las pérdidas anatomofuncionales y estéticas, generadas por el tratamiento oncológico, así como también mejoría en el estado psicosocial del paciente.
