A GROUP OF HIGH Q0 VALUES, WHICH PRESENTED EXCEPCIONAL DISCREPANCIES AS COMPARED TO THOSE COMPUTED IN RECENT NUCLEAR MASS TABLES, WERE REMEASURED. CONDITIONS OF THE VAN GRAFF ACCELERATOR AND BROAD-RANGE MAGNETIC SPECTROGRAPH WERE IMPROVED BY THEIR REORIENTATION AND BY ADJUSTING THE BEAM SIZE TO COINCIDE WITH THAT OF THE --- PO CALIBRATOR, THROUGH A REDUCTION OF FIVE TIMES ITS ORIGINAL BEIGHT. THE REPEATED HIGH Q0 VALUE MEASUREMENTS AS WELL AS OTHER REACTIONS SIMULTANEOUSLY OBSERVED ARE REPORTED IN THIS PAPER. IN SPITE OF SOME APPARENT BETTER AGREEMENT WITH MASS VALUES, DIFFERENCES LANGER THAN THE PROPOSED ERRORS STILL REMAIN. THERE HAS NOT BEEN A GENERAL IMPROVEMENT WITH RESPECT TO THE EARLIER SITUATION WHEN ANALYZING, BY THE USE OF THE PRESENT RESULTS, CLOSED CYCLES AMONG THE LIGHT NUCLEI. SATURATION EFFECTS OF THE MAGNETIC AND FRINGING FIELDS OF THE SPECTROGRAPH AT THE HIGH STRENGHTS, MIGHT BE A PROBABLE SOURCE TO EXPLAIN THESE DISCREPANCIES; A SURVEY OF IT IS UNDER PREPARATION.
