ESTE ARTÍCULO DESCRIBE LAS CONSIDERACIONES DE DISEÑO DE DIVERSOS TRANSDUCTORES BASADOS EN SILICIO. EL PROPÓSITO ES DOBLE: 1) EL SILICIO ES UN MATERIAL SEMICONDUCTOR ADECUADO PARA EL DESARROLLO DE TRANSDUCTORES COMPLETAMENTE INTEGRADOS, LOS CUALES PUEDEN SER FABRICADOS CON PROCESOS DE FABRICACIÓN ESTÁNDAR DE CIRCUITOS INTEGRADOS; 2) SI EL DESARROLLO DE TRANSDUCTORES ES COMPATIBLE CON PROCESOS DE FABRICACIÓN ESTÁNDAR, ENTONCES SE DESCRIBEN LAS CAPACIDADES PARA EL DESARROLLO DE SENSORES INTELIGENTES. POR LO ANTERIOR, SE REALIZA UNA REVISIÓN BIBLIOGRÁFICA CON LA INTENCIÓN DE ELABORAR UNA REFERENCIA QUE SEA ÚTIL PARA EL PRINCIPIANTE Y PARA EL DISEÑADOR DE SENSORES DE ESTADO SÓLIDO.AbstractTHIS PAPER FOCUSED ON THE DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS OF SILICON BASED TRANSDUCERS. THE REASON FOR THIS IS TWOFOLD. FIRST OF ALL, SILICON IS A SUITABLE MATERIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FULLY INTEGRATED TRANSDUCERS, WHICH CAN BE MANUFACTURED WITH ANY IC FABRICATION PROCESS. THE SECOND REASON IS TO DESCRIBE THE POSSIBILITIES TO DESIGN THE SO-CALLED SMART SENSORS. IN THIS WAY, AN OVERNEW HAS BEEN CRATED WITH THE PURPOSE TO WRITE A USEFUL REFERENCE FOR THE BEGINNER AND FOR THE EXPERT SENSOR DESIGNER.
