Resumen
En este artículo se discute sobre varias esculturas del sur de la Huasteca. El autor lleva a cabo una descripción de cada una de ellas y propone algunas consideraciones sobre el posible contenido ideológico de las mismas. In this paper various sculptures in the Southern part of The Huaxteca, which are exhibited outdoors in the communities where they were found, are discussed. The author, in addition to giving a formal description of each one, poses some considerations concerning the possible ideological implications contained in them. He notes the ideas that are bestowed on them today by the people who live in their places of origin.Without minimizing the relations that existed among the Huaxteca and other cultural areas, he suggests the necessity of using the ethnographic analogy, based on the existing information regarding the Huaxteca cammunities such as the Nahua-speaking, the Otomi-speaking, and the Huaxtec-speaking, as a resource that cauld allow for some advancement in the interpretation of subjects related to the religion and cosmogony of the Huastec culture.
