| dc.description | Este proyecto de tesis tiene como objetivo aportar gráficamente a la mitología
de la cultura Shuar y por consiguiente a la pluriculturalidad ecuatoriana;
proponiendo una serie de personajes ilustrados de sus deidades y demonios,
descritos en sus mitos y basados en una recolección de información oral,
obtenida de la población adulta mayor que, aún conserva sus tradiciones, así
como, de libros e investigaciones que han recolectado estas historias desde su
lengua madre. Se realizó una selección de cinco deidades benéficas y un linaje
de demonios representados por Iwia, antiguamente estos conocimientos se han
transmitido de forma oral de generación en generación. Con el propósito de
reconocer y valorar los saberes y prácticas culturales ancestrales e históricas,
la autora se motivó por realizar una serie de investigaciones y entrevistas en
distintos sectores habitados por ancianos shuar, obteniendo información desde
la población como inspiración para el proceso de la obra ilustrada y escrita,
siempre con la intención de seguir fortaleciendo la memoria pluricultural
ecuatoriana. | |
| dc.description | This tesis proyect aims to contribute graphycally to the mythology of the Shuar culture and consequently to the Ecuadorian pluriculturality; by proposing a series of illustrated characters of their deities and demons, described in their myths. Based on a copillation of oral information, obtained from the elder population, that keep its traditions. As well as books and investigations, that achieved to collect these stories from their mother tongue. A selection of five deities and a lineage of demons represented by Iwia. Anciently this knowledge was transmitted orally from generation to generation. With the main goal to recognizing and give more value to the ancestral knowledge and practices.
