dc.descriptionLos valores no físicos, culturalmente conocidos como valores inmateriales, que se encuentran aún presentes a través de expresiones, usos, costumbres, tradiciones, etc., dentro no solo del Centro Histórico, sino en toda la ciudad; deben ser considerados con especial importancia al momento de realizar intervenciones sobre un bien cultural. Este trabajo de grado busca comprobar la hipótesis siguiente: la conservación del patrimonio inmue¬ble de un centro histórico, se encuentra fuertemente condicionada a la conservación de su patrimonio cultural inmaterial, estableciendo de esta manera la relación indisoluble entre el Patrimonio Inma¬terial (PCI) y el Patrimonio Inmueble (Edificado), y definiendo en este proceso la interdependencia entre los mismos, tanto en su imagen como en su conservación integral. Por lo tanto, se demuestra que la conservación de un bien inmueble va ligada directa y necesariamente a la conservación de sus valores inmateriales; para lo cual se toma el caso concreto de la Iglesia San Roque y la Plaza Sucre en la ciudad de Cuenca.
dc.descriptionThe non-physical values, culturally known as immaterial values, which are still present by means of expressions, uses, customs, traditions, etc., not only in the Historical Center, but also all along the city; should be considered with a particular importance when performing interventions on a cultural asset. This degree project tries to prove the following hypothesis: the conservation of the immovable he¬ritage of a historical downtown is strongly conditioned to the conservation of its immaterial cultural heritage, thus establishing the indissoluble relation between the Immaterial Heritage and the Immo¬vable Heritage (built-up). Also, defining their interdependence in this process; both in its image as well as in its integral conservation. Therefore, this research work demonstrates that the conservation of an immovable asset is directly and necessarily related to the conservation of its immaterial values. This purpose studies the concrete cases of the San Roque Church and the Sucre Plaza which are located in the city of Cuenca.
