dc.description.abstract | This research was aimed to analyze the reliability, maintainability and availability of 19
Cononaco of the Generation Plant of 61 block, Petroamazonas EP, Orellana canton,
Francisco of Orellana province, to determine technical specifications and requirements of
the company in order to develop a Maintenance System which meets the needs. The
methodology used was field research and historical records available since 2014 to eight
generators, when faults and corrective maintenance began to be recorded in "Maximum
for Oil & Gas" maintenance management software as well as the daily log records of plant
operators, review data, the daily operation reports, process diagrams, criticality matrix,
prioritization of equipment, failure modes analysis, statistical methods such as
Exponential probability distribution. Through reliability, availability and maintainability
analysis (RAM), high availability rates over 99%, maintainability rates are between 69%
and 90% for a 12-hour working day, the reliability at 500 hours of 8 MTU and Caterpillar
brand generators is between 53% and 94%, system reliability working 6 of the 7
generators is 33% for 500 hours were determined. With these results is achieved
predicting a value of failure probability in an estimated time for each system, so it is
shown that the reliability, maintainability and availability allow to have a control to the
maintenance management. It is recommended to apply this analysis on existing
equipment in the 19 Cononaco of the Generation Plant. | |
