Resumen
The process of automation of a system of collection, chlorination, and monitoring of water, chlorine and oxygen levels of the drinking water of the Mollepamba farm located in the Picaihua parish of the Ambato canton belonging to the province of Tungurahua which has a population of 800 inhabitants. For the development of the automated chlorination system, a solid chlorination dosing system was selected through chlorine tablets with a concentration of 70% which are diluted gradually with the contact of the water, this method is the most efficient and economical in the market. Once the chlorination method was selected, the basic design of the chlorination system was carried out, which will be from the collection tank to the storage tank whereby the chlorination will be carried out and will be monitored once the chlorine dosing the water is pumped to the distribution tank and finally to the homes. For the automation of the chlorination, an ultrasonic sensor srf04 was implemented to calculate the water volume and a coupling with an MG99R servomotor and the globe valve, which when measuring the volume of water in the storage tank gives the control to the Mega Arduino for opening the dosing valve. Once the chlorination system was automated, the wireless monitoring was implemented, which was carried out through an interface between Xbee series 2 modules and for the visualization of data in a Nextion NX3224T028 screen in which data such as water level, oxygen and number of pills in the dispenser. For the calibrations of the system, chlorine concentration samples were taken, which were calibrated according to the INEN 1108 standard, values of 1.1 mg / l in the distribution network according to the analyzes carried out in CESTTA.
