Resumen
This project relates the effects of air pollution, product of motor-vehicle emissions, on the health of DMQ Transit Police Personnel, because this population is exposed more directly to this risk factor. The group of policemen who have been exposed to a longer time to pollution, have a greater risk of suffering cardiovascular disease not only because of their previous exposure to pollution but rather because they are more obese they smoke more and have greater atherogenic dyslipidemia. Contrary to the group of police with less exposure to environmental pollution, they have higher levels of glucose and therefore a high risk of prediabetes and diabetes that as we know is related to an inflammatory process idea that ratifies with the levels of IL6 that this group owns. This study will serve for further studies and planning projects to prevent the causes of cardiovascular diseases.
