Abstract
The objetive is to manage industrial safety and its impact about the personnel with special
capacities of the Cooperative of Industrial of footwear in the Penipe Canton Provice of
Chimborazo. A description of the Cooperative, its organizational structure and the
production process was made in order to prevent and mitigate the occurrence of risks.
Risks were identified and evaluated through the use of standardized methods: William
Fine, Owas, Rula. The design of the industrial safety management system was carried
out, complying with its basic elements. At the moment of the analysis of the detonating
condition of risks were found that those that generate greater degree of: Physical,
mechanical and ergonomic. Among the safety measures taken in addition to the plans of
action proposed, they have a positive effect on workers with special skills and their jobs
considering the follow-up that must be given to the correct development of the system.
As a result, the improvement of the traffic routes to the interior of the plant with properly
indicated machines, nurses of the good work environment that is generated with the new
measures taken benefiting directly the personnel with especial capacities, adding to this
the mitigation of the risks Critics in their interety. It is concluded that when implementing
the improvement plan corresponds to this signage program in the area of production, it
was directly affected the work environment that were made. Based on this, it is
recommended to ensure the continuity of the Ocupational health and Safety Management
system trough the correct use of the records.
