Aplicación de métodos y tiempos y su incidencia en los costos de producción de la Cooperativa de Producción Industrial del Calzado en el cantón Penipe Provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

This work degree, Application of Methods and Times, and its impact on the production costs of the industrial production of footwear cooperative in Penipe canton in the province of Chimborazo aims to address the methods and times as a basic tool of industrial engineering. Diagrams are drawn, the time is measured, the standard time is calculated, takt time is made, bottlenecks are set, the three elements of the production is funded, estimates are made based on the current reality for aggregate production planning which allows an estimated forecast. A proposal is developed and a new working method is implemented, in which the activities are timed and with time reduction in shoemaking it is obtained a value of $ 11.54 (US dollars) per pair of shoes. In conclusion, the financial indicators viable the proposal: NPV gives $ 23.695.09 an IRR of 112%, a cost-benefit of $ 5.88, which means a profit of $ 4.88 for every dollar invested. It is recommended to keep work monitoring to avoid waste; overcome the equilibrium points calculated and avoid this way losses and personnel training.
