Resumen
In the Academic Unit of Research and Poultry Production of the FCP of ESPOCH, it was made the installation and evaluation of an incubator egg model, because of the determination of parameters the experimental design was not used, since there are no treatments, only individual observations. From the results of the incubation process of eggs, fertility percentage of 58% was determined, thereby it could calculate the efficiency of equipment that was of 65.33%; in the pilot tests to calibrate, the equipment indicates satisfactory results. It was made a Rigorous monitoring in terms of homogeneity in the egg weight being determining an average of 55.20 g, which is great especially considering as no hatching eggs under 52 gr, and greater weight than 75 g. In this research in the percentage of hatching the mean response was 16% which is close to 25% which is the ideal to favor the birth of a chick. The chick birth weight parameter is determined by an average of 46 grams, which is convenient for the survival and adaptation of the bird to management conditions and their death rate is low. The economic evaluation determined that by using the computer for profit will be achieved more quickly recover capital as 100 eggs each incubation provide a benefit of US $ 204.16, meaning that in 10 months the team would already accrued.
