Resumen
The present investigation was carried out in Minor Species Farm “GUASLAN” MAGAP, located in parish San Luis, canton Riobamba, Chimborazo province, the effect 3 levels flour Arachis pintoi was assessed (10, 20, and 30 %) on feed rabbits from weaning to the star of reproductive life, to be compared with a control treatment. Random complementary was designed (DCA) applies in combinatorial array of factors, in with 48 male animals’ sparkle 60 days of age, 24 of the New Zealand and Californian, were used, with 6 replicates per treatment. The used of Arachis pintoi flour male rabbits in New Zealand and Californian, were not influenced in their productive behavior, where the best results were determined in final weight (3,35 kg), increase of weight (2,35 kg), total consumption of food (13,88 kg/MS), feed conversion (7,67 points), carcass weight (1,97 kg) and carcass yield (58,74 %), with the T3 treatment (30 % Arachis pintoi flour). When evaluating the biological behavior of animals as a function of race statistical differences (P<0.01) for the variable carcass yield (58,76 %) was recorded in New Zealand rabbits. The best benefit/cost was recorded in the T3 treatment, rabbits and Californians Zealanders to 1.28, meaning that of every dollar invested there is a profitability of $ 0.28, so it is recommended to use in the diet of rabbits during weaning stage early in their reproductive lives, 30 % of flour Arachis pintoi because it had the best profitability.
