Resumen
In the Poultry Farm PURA PECHUGA, located in the parish Moravia via Baños Canton Mera, Pastaza Province, it was studied the use of three levels of Bethany 0,5 (T1), 1 (T2) and 1,5 (T3) ml/l of wáter, with a control (T0) treatment, under a completely randomized desing (CRD), the experimental results were subjected to significance tests, analysis of variance (ANOVA) for the mean differences, Tukey test for separation of the averages at the level of significance P ≤ 0,05 and P ≤ 0,01. Determining that after 14 days the chickens subjected to 1 ml/l stood our for other treatments numerically, while in the evaluation at 28 and 49 days showed statistical differences (P≤0.01), reporting weight of 1469,17 and 3335,50 g, weight gains of 1427,50 and 3294,00 g, the most efficient conversions of 1,44 and 1,62, respectively, in terms of weight parameters to channel, performance at endpoint, provides that the best responses were recorder with the use of betaine 1,00 ml/l of water, 2450,53 g; 73,47%, in that order and the best cost/kg of weigth gain of 1,10 USD. In addition to this level applied achieves its best benefit/cost 1,18 USD; so that 1 ml betaine/l of wáter is suggested, as it influenced positively in the behavior of chickens and economic performance.
