Resumen
The following research aims: the construction of Well Pressure in Quijos 50 MW hydroelectric project, this is located in the province of Napo Quijos canton, parish Cuyuja; to analyze and propose all technical parameters to be used, according to the interpretation of the survey XPP-02 and the classification of geotechnical units, the excavation method which was used is the Raise Boring and manual spreading method, these methods are divided into three main stages its construction; the first part comprised a pilot diameter of 0.28 m, followed by excavation reaming diameter 2.50 m; when the excavation with Raise Boring was finished, it could continue by conventional drilling and blasting method to complete the final diameter of 4.80 m, an interpretation of geological mapping takes to detail, the implementation of support for each type of rock is given in the design plans already defined, depending on the type of rock is the support immediately or within a certain length. Based on survey information XPP-02 it was concluded to be traversed by a lithology of basaltic andesitic lavas, basaltic scoria, lahar sericític, with a lot of crevasses, quartz schist, graphitic, likewise 56% of type IV rock. For the construction of the well pressure it is recommended that fortification be strengthened or changed in the plans because the forces are vertical and horizontal, especially in rock type V and fault zones.
