Resumen
The present research is the implementation of a continuous digester for biogas
production from manure on the farm "La Poderosa" located in the area of
Huamayacu, Canton Sacha, Orellana Province.
The research was conducted in principle by reviewing several sources of
research related to the theme has been applied under conditions similar to
those found in farm conditions.
Subsequently 8 cows with which the amount of manure generated was
estimated, and the physical-chemical and microbiological analyzes of manure,
which helped to get a clearer idea of the type and dimensions of the digester is
selected.
Polyethylene tank of 500 liters was used for the construction of the digester, the
various components such as loading and unloading mouth, stirrer, valve, H
S
filter, hose and biogas coupled driving. After the implementation of digester, the
temperature parameters were monitoring, and pH within it, during the retention
time, in order to generate biogas and used it for domestic consumption.
A daily load of 12 liters of substrate with which a production of 2.26 m
/ biogas
month at an average temperature of 29.5 ° C and with a retention time of 30
days was obtained was established. Biogas production was affected by the
temperature variation of rainy days decreasing the efficiency of the digester.
We conclude our investigation after the biogas is used for cooking food for farm
animals. The owner of the "La Poderosa" It is recommended to continue to use
the equipment and continuously generating biogas to partially replace the use of
GLP and promote the application of new environment friendly technologies.
