Resumen
A virtual e-training environment about electrical safety was designed for Orgatec
Company workers from Riobamba during 2014. The e-training study its different
applications were carried out taking into account the importance e-learning has, so it
was necessary to use methodology adapted for its implementation. A methodological
design for e-training is proposed this is called IMEL (Identification, Layout,
Structuring, Liberation), this is based on ADDIE methodology (Design, Analysis,
Development, Implementation, Evaluation) as well as KHAN methodology. IMEL
methodology was used in a learning virtual environment (EVA) with the use of Moodle
plataform to create a virtual electrical safety course in the company´s web site. The
Orgatec personnel was trained to improve their knowledge about the appropriate use of
personal protection, this showed that EVA accomplished the usability in a 77.04% and
the functionality in a 77.21%, these indicators reinforced the learning in a 30%. It is
concluded that e-training contributed with the cooperative and investigative learning in
the labor aspect. It is recommended to use IMEL methodology to design EVA e-training
for future research projects.
