Resumen
In the current thesis Control and Automatic Manipulation Laboratory at Maintenance Engineering School, it was chosen from among existing teaching modules. It was decided to perform its repowering in which, a diagnostic study and technical condition of each of the components was carried out, where it was ended with a proposal to improve the module by implementing the Programmable Logic Control (PLC) SIMATIC S7-1200, a touch screen KTP-600 and an Arduino card. Whit their help, the programming was developed by identifying each of the variables in a programming language, construction and communication PROFINET network, not only with SIEMENS devices, but simultaneously link communication with Arduino and PC card. By determining each of the acquired measurements within the module, Totally Integrate Automation (TIA Portal) software was applied in order to monitor the functioning a classifying module. It has been considered as a special reference in order to help students to develop their automatic control internships, applying their theoretical knowledge of normal development in face-to-face classes, stimulating skills in this area. Also, generating an advance in technological growth al ESPOCH and train professional entrepreneurs of elite. It was obtained an improvement of classifying module by the implementation of a technological progress and opening knowledge of SIEMENS devices, the communication between variables of process continuously and executed for the implementation of each one of them. In addition to the developing of the operation manual, the maintenance and safety plan for each of the system which embed the module, systematizing and structuring an examination to corrective culture for a planned preventive, which leads to lower maintenance costs, increase the useful life of equipment and availability; as well as ensures the operational safety of students, equipment and the environment concerned.
