Resumen
It was designed and built a seat bus for the driver which is ergonomic and meets the expectations of the regulation RTE INEN 043, with elements of the seat and its respective regulations (height adjustment, horizontal and backrest angle). For the design stage is considered the demands of the users and manufacturers for a design focused on the development of quality, then several alternatives that were evaluated by the ordinal corrected weighted criteria method was proposed. The resistance of the selected structure was verified with the aid of an analysis tool by finite element method. In the analysis of the structure it is recommended to take into account quality criteria mesh as the criterion element quality in ANSYS, it recommends that statistics should have a tendency mesh 1 mesh to be considered good quality, should not have an optimal mesh could cause erroneous results. With the results of the analysis it confirms that the proposed materials have a higher creep limit the maximum effort that supports the seat structure. In the construction phase was defined the map and manufacturing process diagram, the time which took to build the seat. Then it was established the point of equilibrium in which the company must produce 1351 seats including the seats of the bus passengers to avoid debt at the end of the first year.
