Resumen
This research is about a start-engine unit by voice command which will work at the same time the car key when it is started. This system can be adapted to different brands of cars by incorporating a voice recognition. Besides, it can use updated technology in low-range cars, and safe them with words programmed to start and stop. It was important to assign a voice recognition software which can be programmed for oneself. The functions offering this recognition software are established by its manufacturers and detailed in the original manual. One of the most essential elements to make this system is the starter motor of the vehicle because it controls the engine operation and the accessories. According to the voice command, the system will start or stop the engine. Language C programming with ATMEL compiler studio was used for the operation of the device in order to turn codification C into machine communication generating a hexadecimal file which is important for the micro controller operation. The results gotten after system operation tests, statistical analysis and hypothesis checking, validated the right operation of engine start-and-stop unit with the different voice recognition commands provided by the users.
