Resumen
Reengineering the suspension system of the car Land Rover Hard Top 1981 for Mobile Workshop of Automotive Engineering School aims the adaptation and assembly of the parts that make up the system that allows the motor under study to be comfortable and safe, with high load and performance on the road; and also contribute in a learning tool to developed knowledge and skill. In reengineering alternatives for suspension system were chosen which are able to support necessary loads and efforts to which they are subjected, for these reasons the system leaf spring suspension was chosen as ideal as it supports vibration and strength for the work required. After selecting a suspension system we began modeling each of the parts in the CAD program to proceed to its analysis in finite-element software, where the fixed ends and loads are placed. These required results will help to verify the deformations of each element in a state of extreme load. Also within the results of the safety factor should not be below or above the range of 1-5 to determine if the item is oversized or very weak. Whit performance testing of efforts and vibration and incensement of load capacity of 1200 kg at each end of the rear differential was archived, getting proper resistance, which useful life time is protected and extended by applying the respective maintenance, developed for this study.
