Resumen
A Testing Bank of Units of Electronic Control for Vehicles of Electronic Injection Systems for the Automotive Engineering School of the ESPOCH has been constructed which was designed with didactic purposes considering four specific models of ECU (Engine Control Unit) to contribute to the application of the knowledge to be acquired by the students in the subjects related to Autotronics. In the design and construction of this electronic equipment it was necessary to perform a simulated operation of an ECU. The data used in the creation of analogical and digital signals, in representation of the different sensors used by a system, digitalized through micro-controllers, together whit the control software, do simulated the diverse operation conditions permitting to verify the ECU. All this process required the use of informatics tools specialized in the programming area, and a further electronic circuit development which completed its elaboration. This equipment is designed with didactic purposes; with this consideration it was given the functioning of a diagnosis tool, complemented it whit diverse supplements necessary for its operation, such as feeding, communication and control lines. Moreover there are various illustrative elements in representation of sensors and actuators of an electronic injection system, complemented with verification points which will permit to use auxiliary measurement equipment in the different planned practices.
