Resumen
On the farm "San Francisco", located in the route to the enclosure Garcia Moreno
at Km 21
/2, at San Gabriel del Baba parish, Santo Domingo de los Colorados
canton in the of Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas province, it was analyzed the
three levels of acid acetylsalicylic 200 (T1), 250 (T2) and 300 (T3) mg/kg of
balanced feed were used compared to a control treatment (T0), under a
completely randomized (DCA) design, the experimental results were subjected to
the tests of significance, analysis of variance (ADEVA) for the averages difference,
Duncan's test for the averages separation at the significance level P ≤0,05 y
P ≤0,01. In this way, it was determined that during the phase of breeding (1 - 28
days) the chickens subjected to T2 obtained a live weight of 1269,28 g; a gain in
weight of 1228,15 g; a intake of food of 1830,36 g and a feed conversion of 1,44;
similarly in the fattening period (29 - 49 days) was reached a live weight of
2947,39 g and a gain in weight of 1678,11 g and in the total stage (1 - 49 days)
was recorded a gain of weight of 2906,26 g; a food consumption of 5426,56 g; and
a food conversion of 1,84. In addition to using T3 final mortality was 1,85% and
with T0 achieved a lower cost of production of USD 271,69 with a benefit/cost of
USD 1,12; thus it is concluded, that the use of acetylsalicylic acid influenced on
the productive performance of the poultry fattening at all stages (breedingdevelopment and fattening), but not economically.
