Resumen
The present project has as target to design build and install an independent intake system with Programmable Electronic Control MegaSquirt for a Vehicle Chevrolet Aveo. It was investigated multiple variations, designs and applications in order to select the best performances that allow us to improve volumetric efficiency in multiple intakes with its corresponding increasing in engine performance. The system incorporates an independent throttle body (ITS), a multiple intake and a programmable electronic system different to those of factory. The selection of the different com ponents was performed by means of a focused analysis on the functionality and economy in each one of them, to improve performance in the entire system, allowing effective control of injection, with reading of data in real time of the different sensors implemented in the vehicle. With the implementation of this system is achieved an increasing in volumetric efficiency in 24.29%. There is an increasing of fuel consumption of about 23%, showing an improvement in engine performance in relation to the original intake system. These two parameters efficiency and consumption are proportional, that is to say, there is an increasing in efficiency, therefore there will be an increasing in consumption. In addition, a manual of configuration of the programmable system was done for the people with knowledge of the system; they can carry out their own modifications.
