Resumen
It has been created a didactic bank for the operation and recognition of the forming parts of a power supply system for LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) in an internal combustion engine, in order to know more about the advantages provided by the use of LPG in vehicles environment, and the benefits in the economic aspect. In the operation process, the LPG supplying kit whose brand is LOVATO, is attached in the VVT 1.4 Volkswagen golf engine using a charging valve, storage tank, piping high and low pressure filter , LPG solenoid valve, reducer, mixer, high pressure regulator, commutator, emulator of injectors, relay. All these elements must be connected according to their manufacturers` specifications making adjustments and calibrations on them, allowing the engine to run on a dual way, LPG and fuel, free of risk to individuals as well to the vehicle. The creation of this didactic bank will make possible to recognize the elements conforming the LPG supply system, as well as the installation of each of the devices en the kit and also in will be possible to observe its functioning in an injection engine that will serve as a practical guide for gas, power and torque measurements and be able to find the differences between the use of LPG and gasoline. It is also recommended to follow the manuals instructions, laboratory guide as well as to take into account the specification to develop practices in the didactic bank and avoid personal injuries and equipment damages.
