Resumen
ABSTRACT
In the facilities of the farm of quail "el Paisanito infused" located in Riobamba,
assessed the comparison of different management systems for the induced
molting of quail, at the end of the production phase, the number of experimental
units was 600 quail divided in 3 treatments and 5 repetitions with a tamal'or
experimental unit of 15 animals modeled under a randomized complete block
design in accordance bifactorial. In the analysis of the feed conversion to the 60
(1.46), 75 (1.43) and 90 days (1.35 ), the best conversions were reported in the
quail from T3 treatment (total restriction of food for 3 days). The weight gain was
highest recorded in the quails bred under the system of photoperiod (63.69 g). The
weight to the break up of posture is highest with the implementation of the T2
treatment (230.70 9), as well as the lowest mortality that was 0.20 %; the best egg
mass production every 14 days was reported in the T2 treatment (11 ,45. The
economic evaluation has the highest profitability with the implementation of the
treatment T2, since the benefit cost ratio was 1.45. Therefore un Lópezit is recommended
that you use the system of photoperiod (T2), inasmuch as depriving to the birds of
the natural or artificial light do not spend energy on other activities as it is dark to
rest and eat only when they need it.
