The possibility of failure is latent in every meat industry and one of the causes is the lack of planning and technical training on the theme, specially the master production program (PMP) development and administration, whose objective is avoiding the sub-load and the over-load of the production installations so as to reach the optimum production level. The bibliography investigation results were: the process feasibility of the production control and planning in the meat industry, with administration of capacity, inventory statements, forecasting and demand which are the PMP variable which permitted the calculus of the production requirement for each week of a planning horizon of eight weeks of a didactic example, attained through an Excel calculus of PMP level considering that a meat industry has a per plot production system and under the client influence in the final design (MTS). The bibliography investigation from other informatics systems which simultaneously provide updated data of variable and likewise emit production and storage orders is recommended.
