dc.description.abstract"The present investigation objective was preparing Saúco (Sambucus nigra L) decoctions, Marco (Franseria artemisioides W) and Zorrllo (Tagetes =ipaquirensis H) to determine he physical and chemical properties and claborate shampoos with the pure decoctions and in a mixture at different concentrations and their application in dog bathrooms infested with feas (Clenocephalides canis) so as to eliminate them thus preserving the: health of both, he animals and the environment The physical and chemical properties of the shampoos with pure decoctions showed 5.67 Salico Ph, 1.009 g/l density, 6.61 Marco plH, 0.988 g/ml density and 7.35 Zorrilo pH, 1.001 g/l density. The insecticide activity was determined upon bathing the fea- infested dogs at T; (8 days) and Tz (16 days) per triplicate for each shampoo with the pure decoctions of Marco, Saúico and Zorrllo determining that the Marco y Zorrllo have ie insecticido activity: then the bathing was carried out with mixed shampoos at different concentrations of C, (20% Marco and 80% Zorrllo), C> (40% Marco and 60% Zorrillo), Cs (60% Marco and 40% Zorrillo), C. (80% Marco and 20% Zorrllo) and Cs (50% Marco and 50% Zorrillo) pr tiplicat also and up to T, (24 days) showing that the Cy and Cs are optimum to kill Nas, The most adequate treatments were determined through the variance analysis and the ukey test at 5% where the shampoos with pure decoctions of Marco and Zorrillo analyzed at Tz (16 days) presented 75.0% and 90.0% Crenocephalides canis mortality respectively, being considered as effective treatments 10 climinate completely the Ctenocephalides canis, us maintaining healthy pets with natual-origin shampoo."
