Efecto Hipoglucemiante del Extracto de las Hojas de Frutipan (Artocarpus altilis), en Ratas (Rattus novergicus) con Hiperglicemia Inducida.

Abstract

To prove the hipoglucemiante effect of the leaves or Frutipan (Artocarpus altilis) in rats (Rattus novergicus), with induced hyperglycacmia through scientific analytical method determining the levels of glycacmia for that purpose blood samples were taken through a glucometer to the 30 minutes, 6-18-24-36 hours. 18 rats were used, they were divided in 6 groups called: TI (doses to the 100% extract of Frutipan), B (white), C+ (positive control), C- (negative control). A Bioterio was developed in the Biochemical and Pharmacy in the ESPOCH, the diabetic animals were gotten through the administration of an overload of glucose in doses of 35%. The groups: Tl, T2, T3, reccived like extract of the Frutipan leaves treatment, respectively with a concentration of 100%, 50%, 25%. The negative control group received distilated water more glucose to the 35%, the white group and positive control vchicle only. For the analysis of data gathered, the ANOVA TEST was used (varianzas analysis) and T=student. Aer having applied the treatment extract of the Frutipan extract, it was established the reduction of glycacmia in blood gotten from the following average values: White 75.5 mg/dL; positive control 70.5 mg/dl; negative control 89 mg/dl; group TI 66.6 mg/dl; group T2 69mg/dl; group T3 76.6 mg/dl. The glucose reduces in 100% of the basal glucose in doses of high and medium concentration (100%). This contributes to spread the data gathered in the rescarch theme to the population because it is an important contribution for diabetic people to bear their situation.
