Resumen
On the highest station of "Moyocancha" which belongs to the ESPOCH, located at 3600 masl; the determination of times of reinfestation on parasitic loads in sheep was studied. The mentioned investigation was organized with a capture of samples, and the analysis was developed in the Microbiology Laboratory of the FCP. Every 15 days a statistical descriptive analysis was applied; the experimental units were 48 sheep Creoles within the ages 8 and 18 months. The results of the investigation indicate that the time of reinfestation of gastrointestinal nematodes is 90 days post worming, finding that Toxocara vitolorum, is the parasite with a greater presence in adult males (583,32 HPG), the Oesophagostomum sp. are present mostly in young males (416.65 HPG), parasites of the genus Trichostrongylus sp. affect mostly in young females (449.99 HPG) and gender Paramphistomum infest to young males (433.32 HPG). The presence of pulmonary parasites was not clinically relevant but in ovine males and adult females there is a presence of the Dictocaullus filaria (50%); while in young animals only males have these parasites (100%), the infestation by liver Fasciola, in adult females is (78%), and in young males is (59%). Therefore, the parasitic control must be four times a year according to the times of reinfestation.
