The present work search to present the research accomplished at the State
school of Fundamental Teaching Edson Figueiredo, regarding the new school
administration and the pleasure subject. The problem of the research consisted of
knowing, nowadays, if the mentioned School is looking for to build a pleased
atmosphere for her teachers. For the accomplishment of that study, that it is
characterized by being a research of qualitative stamp of the type case study, I
traced some objectives: - To Identify the teachers' concepts on the subject of the
pleasure in emotion level; - To discover which is the importance of that emotion in
their educational practice; - To observe if the school offers a pleased atmosphere for
her teachers and what the team of administration of the school is doing in relation to
that subject, - To Identify if the teachers finds pleasure in being at the school, as well
as in all their educational practices. In this work, I tried to approach the pleasure as
an aspect of extreme importance for the education, valuing, like this, the
characteristics specifically human, surpassing the man's rude conception as being
concrete and empty. Some teachers of the team of administration of the school, and
more four teachers of the four “cycles” of the Fundamental Teaching (infantile
education, initial series, final series, and special class) participated of the research.
These were denominated with letters of A G, as detailed in the chapter 3. The
pointed results for this study demonstrate that the Edson Figueiredo School is in
process of construction of a democratic administration, and these are attentive to
referring subjects to the teachers' formation, as well as the school atmosphere, inside
of a perspective that values the emotions, as well as the happiness and the wellbeing
of the teacher.
