A temática da interdisciplinaridade no curso de especialização em gestão educacional no período de 1999 a 2010

This research aims to discuss the thematic of interdisciplinarity in the Specialization Course in Education Management, Graduate Lato Sensu of Federal University of Santa Maria, through a bibliographic study of the production of oriented monographs on this subject in the period 1999 to 2010, in which four monographs were identified in the Course. For this, was realized a historical retrospective about the origin of the term interdisciplinarity in Brazil from the 60's, also investigated the formation of the senses of interdisciplinarity and the importance of this research to the educational context. The construction of this research included a literature review founded on authors who treat about this subject in education. In the general analysis of the four monographs was found that despite the being interdisciplinarity is strongly present in the in the speech of the authors as a fundamental proposition in the current education, the study reveals that there is still the school's commitment to put into practice the interdisciplinary effectively. Therefore, it was found that the research on the thematic in the monographs investigated shows us a vision of how it is the participation of teachers and students in school when this occurs.It was also felt, the authors said that understanding the concept of interdisciplinarity is still unstable, and that interdisciplinary work is characterized by conscious intentions, objective and clear by those who practice it.
