Resumen
This paper investigates and presents as it has been managing the process of
continuous training and practice in the classroom mathematics teachers in high
school state Palmas / Tocantins, through an investment policy and strengthening
training offered to teachers who teach in Palmas / Tocantins. In this sense, the
research was organized as a structured qualitative research studies from
bibliographic and field research. The theme is about developing an approach or not
the practical skills of teachers in the classroom, from the continuing education course
offered by the Department of Education - SEDUC / TO, which aimed to determine
whether these policies have actually contributed to the strengthening school
management and especially if they have responded to the desires and expectations
of professionals in education. Although we know that continuing education is an
ongoing process throughout the teaching profession, as can be seen, the effect of
continuing education, changes in behavior, habits, attitudes, participatory planning,
involvement in school activities, active participation in management decisions and
especially the teaching practice in the classroom.
