Resumen
This research focuses on the application of 2 tests where the main objective was to find the relationship between language development and social cognition in children with aged between 4 to 7 years. This study presents theoretical background, report and investigative evidence where they demonstrate the beginnings of this debate. These studies found changes in performance in tasks of social cognition, which could be linked to language development in the children's ages, evidencing an interrelation in one of these two constructs. The importance of this study on social cognition and their evolution in children, evidences that the age of 4 to 7 years is fundamental in the development of language and in the social area. Therefore, this research pretends to expand and deepen the characteristics of the relationship between social cognition and language development, specifically in the components of (Tom) and empathy.
