Objective: To evaluate the perception system workers about safety and health at work in clinical and administrative population at a level III hospital care, Bogotá-Colombia. . Methods: Cross-sectional study population of care and administrative workers. The Nordic Questionnaire About workplace Safety NOSACQ 50 Spanish performed validated. The sample was stratified random probability in 308 workers (230 and 78 administrative assistance). Results: The mean age was 39. 5 ± 12 years, more often than females (74. 68%), single marital status (38. 96%) and technical education (34. 40%). The perception system workers about safety and health at work was independent of the type of administrative and welfare work activity (p> 0. 05), increased perception in both groups was the confidence of workers in system efficiency security (2. 71 and 2. 77), and lower perception presented empowerment security management (2. 35 and 2. 46) and safety as a priority for employees and risk rejection (2. 35 and 2. 40). Conclusions: Hospital workers have an adequate level of good perception about the aspects of safety and health at work where it was shown that the strength is the confidence of workers in the effectiveness of the system and the weakness of the system is in the disempowerment and risk aversion.
