INTRODUCTION. This paper explores healthy working conditions most frequently
studied in Colombia and Europe in the period 2002-2012.
OBJECTIVE. Look for research advances in healthy working conditions in Colombia and Europe between 2002 and 2012, through: analysis of the occupational health concept and the research of different approaches and analysis of healthy conditions work models as well as the review, consolidation and analysis of documents about the state of the art of research aspects in psychosocial work conditions.
METHOD. Documentary research, through the database search and later consolidation, systematization and analysis of scientific literature that evaluates aspects of healthy working conditions in Colombia and Europe, between 2002 and 2012.
RESULTS. The literature review found that the implementation of healthy environments at the organizational level is an effort and commitment of employers, employees and society to improve the welfare of people at work depicting a social responsibility corporate, as well as an advantage sustainable competitive industry. Similarly, it highlights the progress that
present Europe and Spain in the development of national studies of healthy working conditions in contrast with Colombia that has not done nationally representative research.
