Copasú is an innovative company that offers typical desserts with traditional
preparation, gourmet type and a great variety of typical beverages that transport
people to their place of origin. The place will be divided in the different natural
regions of Colombia, decorated and attended with a high quality service for the
customer to feel as at home.
Desserts will be made at the establishment to make the production easier and offer
fresh products all the time. The employees will have all the required endowment for
the production process and the best ingredients to assure the same quality in all
the products. In addition, there will be some management controls to verify that the
process is following the original recipe and looking after a constant improvement.
Also
For the marketing analysis it was made a geographic segmentation, choosing
Chapinero neighborhood for having representative areas for the company as zona
T and G. The objective market is 345.325 people from economic strata 4, 5 and 6,
between 24 and 38 years old and incomes between 800.000 and 1´700.000 pesos.
The main competitors for Copoasu are Myriam Camhi, who has been more than
twenty five years in the market. H&B and Rausch have only one year operation.
Finally Jacques which has ten years old.
From the conservative point of view used for the financial model, Copoasu showed
to be a profitable project taking into account the projected balances, the profit and
loss statement, the free cash flow and financial indicators. The break-even is
achived at the end of the second year of operation
