Resumen
This paper investigates a method which can be used to compress two-dimensional mobility shapes measured with scanning laser Doppler vibrometers. It is shown that the compressed data can be used as virtual measurements when estimating modal parameters. The data are compressed spatially using a two-dimensional Fourier series model. The approximation reduces and filters the measured data in the output space for each frequency line. A Chebycheff polynomial modal parameter estimation method is used to extract the modal parameters. The proposed method makes phase-separation modal analysis viable when using spatially dense mobility shapes. 11 41732 194 203
